What Actually is Dedicated Hosting?

When we talk about hosting web servers, there are three main categories - hosting servers, VPS (Virtual Private Servers) and dedicated packages. Shared servers host plenty of clients and so the system resources per account are limited, VPS offer more configuration liberty, but also influence other private virtual web servers on the hardware node if used heedlessly, and dedicated servers give you the autonomy to perform everything you wish without intervening with anyone else.

Why would you need a dedicated servers?

Dedicated servers are usually much more high-priced than shared web servers or virtual private web hosting servers. Why would anyone, then, want to use them? The reply is pretty simple. If your company has a heavy resource-consuming online portal, or simply has very explicit server setup requirements, the right choice would be a dedicated servers. For somebody who is ready to invest in safety and stability, the bigger price is not a problem. You are given complete server root access and can use 100% of the physical machine's resources without anyone else utilizing these system resources and messing with your online portals.

Hardware configurations

The hardware configurations offer different varieties of processors, a different number of cores, different RAM and hard disk sizes and different monthly bandwidth quotas. You can choose a hosting Control Panel, which is a convenient interface if you would like to use the dedicated servers for web hosting purposes only and prefer not to use SSH for all the modifications you will be making. The web hosting CP of your choice

If you are a self-confident Linux user (our dedicated servers are running on Linux or other Unix-based OSs), you could manage your dedicated packages via a Secure Shell terminal only. That, however, could be inconvenient, particularly if you wish to give complete root-level access to somebody else who has less technical abilities than yourself. This is why having web hosting CP software pre-installed is a good idea. The Hepsia Control Panel software tool that we offer does not give you full root access and is mostly appropriate for somebody who maintains numerous web pages that absorb a lot of system resources, but wishes to administer the web sites, databases and e-mail aliases using an easy-to-use Control Panel. Web server monitoring and backup services

Last but not least, there is the matter of monitoring the dedicated servers and of backing it up. In the event of a problem with your dedicated hosting web server, such as a non-responsive Apache or an outage, it is good to have some kind of monitoring platform activated.
